Flimsy but works: my feedback

The first thing I noticed was there are no instructions, besides the little tiny slip in the photo which doesn't show what needs to be seen anyway. You gotta figure it out by looking at the box. Multiple pieces fit together to build the bridge, but they don't stay together and if you bump it, it comes apart. I glued the supports on to fix that. Next, there are *barely* *justenough* track pieces to make it all fit together. One more piece of track would have made a HUGE difference in this toy, it's kinda strained and doesn't like to sit flat. Because of this, the cars sometimes come off. The T Rex Dino does not stand on a table or carpet or anything bc the feet are crooked. The palm trees don't stand either and appear to be made to clip to the track, which you cannot do because they're too short and knock the cars off. Carpet is not ideal, not even berber. Best to only use on a perfectly flat surface. It's flimsy but it does work and my son is entertained by it, just gotta be careful when using it. Also, beware of the teeny tiny screws on the battery compartments on the cars. they come all the way out so unscrew over a placemat or something so they don't get lost! All in all it's a cute toy but some minor improvements to sturdiness and one extra piece of track would have made it great.

Pros
  • The playset promotes hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills, and problem-solving abilities in young children
Cons
  • The cars do not have enough inertia to effectively compete in a race
