They had a terrible bad smell so I washed them according to the instructions. I couldn't pack clothes in it because I knew they would smell like nasty chemicals. One of the cubes came apart at the seams, and the inner skin of the other cube ripped and tore. Obviously these cubes don't stand up even when hand washed. I had to return them and order another set from ebags.
