My rating on this product is hard to separate from garbage collection in general, but both deserve 5 stars. I've had cats all my life, usually one or two. Cat urine is a smelly thing. This system is best suited for odor minimization. I use it in combination with newspaper pellets and it's the best system I've ever come across. I think digging up the garbage is useless because the small clumps of urine make a smelly box. With these and paper pellets I pick up solids daily, change the seal weekly and rebuild the entire system as needed. No smell.
