Can't fully open screen with shell on (Dell XPS 13 9300)

I would like to start by saying that I have two other iPearl hard shell cases for my Dell XPS 13 9360 and also for my Microsoft 2020. Surface Laptop 3 and we are very happy with these products. This review is for the recently released skin for the new 2020 Dell XPS 13 9300 13.4 inch laptop. The problem is that the latches that hold the bottom half of the case to the laptop don't allow the screen fully opens. When the shell is activated, you can only open the screen about 90 degrees. Since the bottom of the laptop is tilted forward, this means that when the screen is fully open, the screen looks down a bit. You must either lift the front edge of the laptop or look down at the screen at a slight angle. If you force open the screen, the clips will press on the bottom edge of the screen and possibly break it. I hope this is just an issue with an early version of the shell (this computer is a relatively new model) and that iPearl can tweak the design to fix it. UPDATE: iPearl refunded the cost of my case and shipping. They also advised me to try cutting off the "ears" at the bottom of the case with a utility knife to see if that would allow me to open the screen further. It's almost impossible to cut polycarbonate with a paring knife; The best you can do is draw a line on the plastic. I was able to sand the shell off the ears using a cut-off wheel and sander with a dremel. Now the screen can be rotated more than 90 degrees.
