Painful blisters

I've been using them for four months now and they still cause painful blisters on my instep and on the tips of my big toes with prolonged walking. Sometimes I have to stop halfway because they hurt terribly. The problem seems to be in the stitching, which is right on top of the instep - a terrible spot as this is a pretty delicate part of the foot. I already have some small calluses there, but it will take some time for them to form (out of nowhere) enough to stop blistering. I would have sent them back but I ordered them from overseas on a short visit to the US so I didn't have a chance. My previous pair of Vibrams that I liked were Bikila Evos, which I ran almost daily for three years until the seams came undone. Those V-runs should be a step up, but I'd say it's a step down. The material is lighter but looks cheaper and the design is definitely not ideal for people with average foot widths. I hope Vibram can fix these issues in the next version of Bikila or V-Run.
