Review on 1/2 CuFt High Quality Cation Water Softener Resin Replacement With 100% Ion Exchange by Chad Aguirre

I just received six bags, four in one carton, two in another. Both cartons were rather thin cardboard (unlike the very substantial boxes CR Spotless uses) "rounded" a lot from handling, and with a great amount of clear tape put all over the outside by the sender. The bags inside were also flimsy (again, unlikely the thick tough plastic bags used by CR Spotless). Two of the four bags had torn open, one so much that its entire contents was loose and in the bottom of the. It was also moist, probably because it is hydroscopic and picks up moisture from the air. So it was a real nuisance to try and get it all captured (I used kitchen garbage bags) and, of course, I don't have a good way to keep it sealed from the air. I haven't used any yet but it looks "right". I knocked off two stars because I shouldn't have had to deal with the mess of poor packaging and shipping.
