Pleasant color temperature

I bought these for my dining room chandelier. They are absolutely bright. My 3200K tubes have a golden hue which we preferred over the 4000K (too blue) and 2700K (too orange) tubes they replaced. If you are looking for a COMFORTABLE color temperature for your home, you will likely end up somewhere between 3000K and 3200K. Before that I bought 4000K bulbs but the shade wasn't what I was looking for. I thought 4000K would give me pure white light but obviously after setting them up they were still very blue. I got my money back very quickly (returned to the nearest Revain bookstore) and repurchased the books I really liked. After comparing many different lightbulbs over the past few weeks, I have come to the conclusion that the perfect white lightbulb does not exist. They all have a certain color cast and it all comes down to preference. In case you're wondering why I even care, I'm an amateur photographer and I always hate the orange color you get when shooting in 2700K lighting. I'll be honest and tell you that 3000-3200K will not solve these problems, but in the end you need comfortable lighting. Also, my camera can correct the color temperature if I set it correctly. So choose comfort.
