I actually bought this to use on our sliding glass door, not in the bath. I thought our son would have fun learning letters and numbers with them by sticking them on the window. We've only used them a couple of times so far. He doesn't seem to think they have "their place" by the window and when I put them in there he just takes them off and either puts them on the floor or chews them. He only left tooth marks on them - he didn't actually bite any of them off (I don't GIVE him to chew them - he just chews them until I take them out of my mouth). They seem very sturdy. I am sure that over time he will learn to play with them. You've piqued his interest, so that's a start! My only complaint I suppose is that there is only one of each number and letter in the bag. The pronunciation of the words ("mom", "dad" or your child's name) is difficult.
