For babies (9 months) who prefer to bang pots and pans with wooden spoons than most toys. No toys lol - pots and pans with wooden spoons? Yes! boxes? Of course! toys for babies/kids.? No, I'm a good mom, thanks. In this case, however, baby LOVES this toy set, especially the shape sorter (although he also likes the rings). He likes to make noise, so grabbing the shape sorter by the handle and shaking it as hard as he can is pretty much the best thing he's ever done - aside from banging spoons on pots ;) I agree with some of the reviewers who say the lid is looser than in older versions - it's really nice for my toddler that she can take the lid off to see exactly where the shape is going when she puts it in the right hole. So a loose lid makes it easier for him. Overall we are very happy with this toy set! And for the price, it's very worth it.
