Considering the price, this reader is quite good. The transmission speed is as advertised. The build quality is mediocre, but you have to keep in mind that this device is priced under $30! It mounts and unmounts maps very quickly. Nice blue indicator lights. This may interest some of you: many of the negative reviews point to design flaws, and the kickstand and over-thick cable are right. This stand is weak and the cable is very thick and moves the entire device and can flip it because the cable wants to move a certain way. BUT this is easy to solve - GOOD PIECE! Throw that aside and simply place the reader on a table with two small Velcro straps and it attaches securely and is easily removed for transport. See the photos I've attached. I like it a lot more than the vertical stand. 4 stars only because of the stand issue. I personally don't need it, but if I did, it wouldn't work at all.
