Review on πŸ“Έ Enhance Your Studio Lighting with Neewer RT-16 16 Channel Wireless Studio Slave Flash Trigger Receiver by Andrea Scoggin

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Avoid low reliability if possible.

I recently bought all-in-ones to expand my photography business. Of course, I needed triggers for each of them, and due to lack of money (and despite negative reviews about their reliability), I decided to try these. I ordered an RT-16 transmitter that came with a receiver. This receiver works. good enough, and dropouts were rare. But the separate receiver/trigger only worked when the transmitter was less than 30cm away. I tried this for several days in different configurations: a good trigger on one monoblock, then another, a bad trigger on one monoblock, then another. Constant crashes unless I held the transmitter 6-8 inches away. I even switched channels a few times to make sure it wasn't interference. no I decided I would keep trying to use the system (as one worked fairly well) and order a replacement for the bad one which Revain received the next day thanks to them for their service. But when the replacement came, EXACTLY the same problem was discovered. I'll try them out there as a last resort to make sure there aren't any interference issues (although one consistently works better). But I'm sure they ALL go back to Revain. The negative reviews were true. If you try this and get better results, I'm happy for you. I hoped to be one of the lucky ones. But I can't afford to fail like that when people pay me to take photos I save some money on pocketwizard triggers.
