Review on πŸ’§ Nathan 2.0L Replacement Bladder for Hydration Vests and Packs - Leak Proof, BPA Free! by Homer Reed

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Nathan Hydrapak 2 liter bottle

I wasn't paying attention and was surprised that this bottle had a quick release hose. The original camera in my Nathan HPL 2.0 backpack did not. The hose proved to be very reliable and I could not find any leaks. Mine didn't have a top hook either, but that wasn't a problem. The extra bladder worked in my hydration schedule for the 2015 Sehgahunda Trail Marathon at Letchworth State Park in New York. I pre-filled an extra tank with Tailwind and secured it in a bag I left at Checkpoint 3 (about 15 miles before the start of the race). When I got to security, I took out my bag, took the empty bottle out of my backpack, replaced the clip with a new bottle and hung it in my backpack. Even after changing my socks after the bladder treatment, I got through the checkpoint. in 5 minutes. I definitely recommend this bladder for use with Nathan packs. I also recommend using a spare bladder rather than trying to fill it up during a race if you're using anything other than water. I think I was definitely faster than if I had to mix tailwind and water at the checkpoint.
