Review on Smart watch Garmin Forerunner 235, blue by Dagmara Goljat ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The item was good, I'll recommend it to my friends.

My first running watch is this one. Prior to that, I either ran with just my phone or a Xiaomi bracelet. If a phone with GPS is not within reach, the wristband is useless. The inability to connect a chest heart rate monitor to it is another reason why running in the cold is uncomfortable because you can't wear it over a jacket to get a pulse reading. Also, there were many issues with the heart rate monitor itself. Moreover, he had sensory issues; for some reason, the watch under his jacket occasionally stopped training. In general, I made the decision to bring a regular running watch. The pricing for running watches were the first thing that astonished me because they are simply space watches, so I didn't even think about buying a new one and instead looked at old ones. The Garmin Forerunner 235 was selected. Even though it was possible to purchase a second 920XT for roughly the same price, they are older and have less functionality overall. They also lack their own heart rate monitor (and sometimes require the use of a chest strap). I can say that overall, I'm extremely happy with the watch. GPS is effective; satellites may be found nearly immediately. The chest and built-in heart rate monitor values are very similar. Nevertheless, when that occurs here and it sticks, the clock is restarted to fix it. I was astounded by the purpose of running indoors. Of course, they were inaccurate the first time, but after repeated street runs, they improved greatly. When I ran slowly, they counted the distance to me quite precisely; the next 200 meters were distributed exactly along the 200-meter circle's arc. However, they begin to lie when I accelerate, but it's still not too bad. The interval training element is another something I like. You can change the length of the exercise, the number of repetitions, the warm-up, and the hitch. Approaches are the one thing that cannot be fixed. Those. If, during a workout, we run quickly for 1 minute and then slowly for 2 minutes, repeating this pattern three times (i.e., nine fast laps in total), then you will need to record each set again, thereby turning the activity into three different training sessions. Another surprise was the absence of a timer and stopwatch. That is what I didn't anticipate, especially coming from a running watch.

Pros
  • Running without a phone is practical extremely precise internal heart rate monitor You can attach a chest heart rate monitor, including a non-Garmin brand one (I have a Polar H10) You can securely wear a chest heart rate monitor over your sleeve to observe all the indicators if one is available. There is a really effective indoor running mode. Period mode
Cons
  • The heart rate monitor sticks (both the problem and the solution have already been described), in addition, it often magically shows the pulse when the watch is on the table Sets are not capable of being varied (reps are allowed, but sets are not allowed) Not a stopwatch! With regard to Garmin Connect, there is no step length graph; instead, there is only the average length (Xiaomi bracelet for one and a half thousand paired with MiFit shows a graph, but this expensive watch does not)

The pulse is shown incorrectly, the screen is poor, the price is cosmic in 2022. What the money is for is unclear.
