Each coil was very thin and the last photo shows when I tried to part the hair to loosen it up to curl it. It doesn't even spin. Firmly under control, as if sprayed on. Now I constantly buy strands of feathers for hair. This is my family style. My daughter wanted blue hair so I had to search and this was the only one I found. When I received it and opened the package, I expected no less than any other I have purchased. But baby, look forward to it. I can usually use a strand to make a curl and it looks full once the hair is fluffed up. With this hair I'm pretty sure I need 2 twists or more. And that means I have to buy more hair. So I haven't styled it yet. I think instead of a full head I can do spring curls in the back and use blue kanquelon hair in the front for tribal braids. I do not recommend this product. thumbs up
