Review on SteelSeries Sensei 310 Gaming Mouse - TrueMove3 Optical Sensor with ๐Ÿ–ฑ๏ธ 12,000 CPI - Ambidextrous Design - Split-Trigger Buttons - RGB Lighting - Black by Seth Damain

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Two devices, both had intermittent right-click issues

I tried the Sensei 310 because I've been used to double-sided buttons on either side of the mouse since the Xai days. After a week of average use, I encountered the choppy double-click issue others have mentioned in reviews. It was perfectly fine for the first 5 days or so, then calmed down slightly until it became completely unusable because you can't hold down the right mouse button without it popping up and being pressed 5-10 times in 3 seconds. I ordered a replacement from Revain and the next mouse felt fine with no issues for about 6 days. Then the same right-click problem reappeared on a new replacement device. Two devices don't work and I'm hesitant to try the third. I've been buying SteelSeries for years, from the Xai, Sensei, Sensei Wireless, Raw to the latest Rival 600. My rival also has quality control issues. Glue comes out of the rubberized grips and this device also randomly turns off and makes a hard parting. The only solution is to disconnect and reconnect the device. This happens maybe once or twice during a 6 hour gaming session. I can't currently play competitive games with this mouse as it was actually causing losses in fast paced, high rated games. I started the RMA process hoping they would help me with this device. I don't know what's going on, but literally the last 4 devices had some very serious quality control issues that made them all unplayable at a competitive level. The Sensei Wireless worked great for me just after a year and then the warranty literally broke. Have I gotten to the point where I'm just spending money on all these devices and nothing lasts long? What happens there? I would really like to have a really working sensei style mouse (double sided with comfortable buttons on both sides) with a modern laser. Unfortunately, Zowie FK1 does not support using buttons on both sides at the same time.
