If you've ever mounted a flat panel display on a wall, you may have been frustrated trying to connect cables *after* mounting it on the wall. I made this mistake on a TV that had most of the ports in the center rear, making it almost impossible to reach/install cables with flimsy wall mounts, leading to lots of swearing, finger pinching, and maybe a tantrum or two.
