This is the perfect solution for cats that rummage through your houseplants. Plastic is easily cut with wire cutters. I cut about 2 inches wide and slightly wider. I cut some into several pieces to put on my plants. I stood up a little and circled my plant around the inside rim of the pot for my philodendrons who were standing there gathering the plants in a heap and looking very pretty. I used metal pins to hold the plastic. I've had a lot of metal pens. It only works with 5 I think. I've also used flower sticks in smaller pots. I also used moss to put some plants on top of the plastic so you can't see the plastic pins. I am very happy. I'm a plant lover and have about 30 houseplants (or more). I thought I would have to put all my plants in one room and was very upset because we adopted this cat after someone left her at the country house and she showed up at our house. We fell in love with him and there was no way we could turn him down. So I am very thankful for this product.
