I parked my Accord 96 in the driveway and forgot to disconnect the battery, after about 2 weeks my battery was clearly dead but it's almost new 9/19. All I had to do was take it out of the car and connect the cables, I did this around 6pm and left it charging until around 6pm the next day, first I panicked for 2 reasons , 1 I wouldn't advise you to charge it even in your room or house. It might emit some gases. I mean I was actually charging in my room and no one died or anything but I don't know if it was me or my paranoia but I think it was some kind of gas escaping but as I said nothing toxic or anything dangerous, but if I had to do it again, I'd just leave it in the garage or somewhere well-ventilated to charge. The second was obvious when I looked at the light it was always flashing red so I knew it was charging but since my battery was using a lot of juice it took me quite a while to think it wasn't going to work , but after I took a pill for the common cold everything was fine and he turned me green, smiles jumped around maybe then it turned green and I felt like a genius, at least $100 more, at least a few dollars. Victory!
