In terms of music, these ears were a pleasant surprise, they give out a wonderful sound, at the level of good expensive wired earplugs. The sound is rich, the bass is tight and slightly accentuated, the high frequencies are clear and quite detailed. There are many options for equalizer presets in the headphones, but I did not feel the need to use them, the default sound is very good. Before buying, I compared the sound with both cheap QCY Q29 and not very cheap Apple AirPods. Sony turned out to be head and shoulders above in sound, a completely different quality. All the complete silicone ear pads did not fit me, they turned out to be too small for my ears, I used them from other headphones. This is a purely individual matter, it happened to me with other ears, so I don’t write it down as shortcomings. Noise cancellation is not particularly strong, but it works, and it really helps in the subway. At least the noise isolation is better than the mentioned QCY and an order of magnitude better than the AirPods. I use it with a Samsung Galaxy S7 smartphone, and with the AAC codec enabled, the connection quality is ideal in any conditions - at home, on the street, in the subway. A momentary loss of connection in one ear was noticed only once, when the smartphone was across a concrete wall from me. The quality of the conversation during the call is not bad, the interlocutors did not complain. There is a noticeable delay in the sound, somewhere probably for half a second. You can watch video if you use a player with delay compensation. Playing or watching YouTube is problematic. In general - excellent ears for music, I recommend.
