This item was very easy to assemble. The only issue I had was the mounting tape not sticking to anything. I recommend buying 3M mounting tape at any auto parts store and sticking it on the light strips before proceeding with the setup to find out that they don't stick well. UPDATE: After posting my first review on this item, the lights stopped working after about a month! Not sure what happened to them. When I took it completely out of the car to see what the problem was, I noticed that where the wire connected to the LED board had come loose in the protective plastic sleeve. The ends of the case that "protects" the LED board are sealed with some sort of transparent silicone sealant, so I have absolutely no idea why the light went out. I am trying to figure out how to get a replacement either through Revain or the actual seller as I think there must have been some sort of guarantee. My advice is if you buy this item when it arrives make sure you check the places I mentioned as soon as you open it. Even if it works, I would still check the wiring. If something doesn't suit you, you can easily send it back to Revain. After the return period has passed, good luck trying to get help!
