Review on πŸ”¦ Coghlan's Lightsticks: Brilliant Illumination for Outdoor Adventures by Jeremy Jackz

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Lots of nightlife, especially for children.

These are absolutely the best glow sticks my kids have ever had. I've been buying this for my kids for 4th of July parties every year since they were toddlers and they love it every time and every time. Each box contains 8 glow sticks in different colors. Simply connect the wand to break the little glass tube inside to allow the ingredients to mix, and then a wonderful fluorescence comes out to brighten the night (the wand is made of durable plastic so don't worry, you just can don't accidentally break it. Well, unless you're stupid enough to cut it with a sharp knife or throw it in the fire.). This thing floats in water. Throw something in the pool and you will have a wonderful magic show in the water. Have fun with the glow stick. Give each child a little and you'll be amazed at how creative a child can be with colored lights. A word of advice: while the chemical reaction that powers the light can't be stopped once it's turned on (well, unless you have the superpower to reach absolute zero temperatures), it can be slowed down to make the glow last longer , by keeping it -20 degrees Celsius (that's about as much as a typical home fridge can get in a top freezer) during the day. At this temperature the contents remain liquid and still react by emitting light but much more slowly because as you can see there is only a very faint light that is barely visible. It will resume full power after returning to room temperature when you need it when night returns. So you can experience a few extra glory nights with each stick.
