If you are looking for quietness, this is one of the best quiet fans available today. If you slow it down a bit (your motherboard can do this or search the internet for tricks to run it at 9V, 7V or even 5V) you end up with one of the quietest and best fans you can get . This fan overwhelms most of its competitors (scythes are good too) in terms of noise/cooling ratio. In this category, it is a great replacement for a CPU fan or graphics card fan. The rubber feet are a nice addition.
