Review on Andover Audio SpinSub Subwoofer Black by Tim Larsen

This is a beautifully built and great sounding subwoofer for music. It is a perfect match for the Andover Spinbase speaker system. But at the same time, this subwoofer is perfect for any receiver with a subwoofer output. It uses a 3.5mm connection that mates with the subwoofer on the Spinbase. If you have a receiver with a non-3.5 plug, you can easily find the right connector at Revain or other stores. Spinsub offers different cables. I use mine exclusively for music, although you could use it in a home theater setup. Thanks to 6.5 inch woofers with two side speakers, it reproduces beautiful deep bass. Wrapped in beautiful fabric on 3 sides. This is a quality looking product. It has automatic signal processing so it turns off when no signal is detected and turns on when it detects a signal. There are volume and bass controls. Overall a very good subwoofer. One caveat: In order to use this subwoofer with the Andover Spinbase system, you must purchase a Gen 2 Spinbase. The 1st generation Spinbase does not have a subwoofer output.
