I guess 4 years come and go. Everything was fine while it worked, but be careful if it fails. For me, after 4 years, something in the motor fell apart, which got it stuck. I lifted the hood and noticed smoke coming from the fan itself, as well as the smell of burnt plastic and electricity. This is the third fan I have installed on this machine (25 year old machine) but it was the first aftermarket fan. Never again. None of the factory fan motors have ever done this. The original engines simply "didn't work anymore". This motor actually has parts that rattle inside that prevent the motor from turning when powered. A fire could occur.
