Once I found the best way to mount this thing, it's amazing. I had no idea how happy something like that could make me. I installed this in a 14 year old Durango with an iPhone 6. The seat rail bracket that comes with the kit does not actually fit in the seat rail. It was too wide and flat for my narrow and low gauge. I evaluated my options like sanding the mount to fit. But I didn't like this option because it might not work in the end. I didn't feel like drilling new holes to accommodate other mounts that might be included. I decided to attach it to the front seat mounting bolt. I removed the plastic cover to get at the screw, loosened it and slipped an Arkon clamp underneath. After a good pull I formed the swan neck. I was also able to replace the plastic cover after shaving it off a bit. Looks OEM. It turned out that by attaching to the seat bolt, the phone mount was the ideal height and position for me. It's right at arm's length when my hand is on the armrest, and it doesn't block access to the center console controls or the touchscreen. The gooseneck is actually a strong aluminum rod in a thin plastic sleeve. That means it's rock solid and doesn't budge when you move it. There is little traffic on rough roads, but nothing that causes problems. I can attach an inconspicuous zip tie halfway up the gooseneck to hold it firmly to the center console, but this is more to satisfy my OCD. The 360 degree rotation of the phone mount is great. My phone turns in every direction. The "legs" or "pins" holding the phone do their job. I can access my charge port with any size cable connector. For such a thin phone, they are much longer than necessary. I wish they had a few different lengths to choose from. But that's a small problem. In general I am very happy. Well done Arcon!
