Review on 🔒 Bolt Lock 5922986 Spare Tire and Wheel Lock - Optimized for 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK by Adam Hogan

I don't like this product as much as I thought I would. Problem #1: The standard bracket is not suitable for installation or removal! You will need a 19mm wrench to remove the item once unlocked as the long barrel protrudes from the nut. This is a serious warning to everyone: if you have a flat tire you need another tool to remove the spare tire! Second, this only works well for wheels with lug holes. Otherwise, a wrench can easily remove the entire assembled lock. When installed on the right wheel, it is much more efficient. Finally, I find the little sleeve that slides over the stem to be very useless. The lock could have been designed with a larger bushing that had wheel bearings inside to prevent someone from jamming and turning the entire lock. Even better if it came with a bigger and longer hub that would fit cleated wheels.
