My cat loves hammocks and crates (which cats don't) but I found this bed absolutely cannot stand on its own when it climbs in. She always meows at me because she doesn't know how to get there. In addition, the bumper broke during the first wash. Other than that, it's pretty cute, so I sewed it back on. However, my cat won't use it until I put her favorite blanket inside and invite her to sit inside. So I took off two stars for quality control and distortion in how it sits vertically. If that's not a problem for you, it's definitely worth it. The cushioning and color choice are really good.
