Review on 🐴 Weaver Leather Tom Thumb Snaffle Bit, 5" - A Durable and Gentle Training Bit for Efficient Control and Communication by Terrence Castillo

NOT TREBULKA - MUST BE BANNED!

NOT CLOSED. It's a heavy curb broken down the middle. LEARN MORE ABOUT BITS GUYS! It's a terribly complicated lure with a twisting action and a long shank (which is why it's curb). I would like to support any action to ban this bit from the market as it is advertised as a snaffle bit and people who are not educated think the bit broken in the middle is a snaffle bit. NOT CORRECT. IF it has a tail, it's a curb, period. The snaffle is a direct action, non-leverage snaffle (unless it is broken down the middle). The snaffle can also be a straight leg that is not broken. The difference is that the snaffle/straight snaffle has an action that goes from the corner of the horse's mouth, down the reins, to your hands. When there's a shaft, there's leverage. This is called a curb bit (Western or English). The amount of leverage depends on the length of the shaft. This lure has a long shaft and is heavy. Any horse I pull out of this snaffle stops tossing its head/disgusting behavior and begins to become a willing partner in a D-ring snaffle (I recommend copper rollers).

Pros
  • Bits
Cons
  • Slightly torn
