Review on Fractal Design Meshify C - Compact Mid Tower Computer Case with Superior Airflow, 2X Fans, PSU Shroud, and Tempered Glass Side Panel - White by Robb Fillmore

Beautiful compact body, ideal for air-cooled applications.

This case is exceptional. If you're doing an air-cooled build and want something compact, this is your case. The NZXT is another oft-reviewed choice, but the Meshify C completely defeats the NZXT as the entire front of the case is mesh, allowing for much better air intake. Speaking of mesh, the top and bottom of the case are also screened with mesh, meaning that dust should be a relatively minor issue for this case as long as you maintain positive air pressure by blowing in more air than you blow out. This case can accommodate up to 7 fans, which is ridiculous for its tiny size. Front: x2 140mm or x2 120mm. x3 120mm if you remove the removable hard drive bay - Top: x2 140mm or x2 120mm - Rear: x1 120mm - Bottom: x1 120mm if you remove the removable hard drive bay. Attachment points as well as rubber grommets so that everything looks neat from the front. The construction of the case feels solid, there is no feeling that it will fall or break. I should know - I've had to take my build apart a few times and walk around with a case stuffed with 30+ pounds of computer components and had no problems. to every other part it's a pain to remove. Additionally, the front bezel (power and reset buttons, as well as USB ports and headphones) have cables attached that can break or become damaged if you are not careful when removing the front bezel. However, docking the star isn't enough for me - and as long as you're careful it won't be too much of a problem.

Pros
  • Mesh front panel in corner for maximum airflow.
Cons
  • protection.
