I bought a pack of these (4GB) to use as boot disks for Linux ISOs, so I wasn't looking for anything special in terms of speed and I was never at risk Loss of data, but these disks were unreliable and all disks lasted less than a year. The first died within a few months, then all the others followed. All in all a waste of money, I advise you to look elsewhere. I've had good experiences with the EASTFUN hard drive pack if you need something cheap, otherwise for actual data storage or a portable operating system I use more reliable brands like Samsung, Kingston or Sandisk (which also have cheap drives). if you don't need speed). IMO, storage is so cheap these days, I don't think you should skimp on a few bucks if you care about your data.
