These tablets worked surprisingly well. The tablets dissolved quickly and fixed my pH within 1-2 hours! My water is very alkaline, probably 8.2 or so, but these pills fixed that. I find that one of these pills worked better than the pH lowering API drops. See my picture before and after (1-2 hours) water pH test. **I used 1 tablet per 10 gallon tank. It would probably be a good idea to give the tablet in halves or even quarters to slow down the stressful and rapid pH change and give the fish time to adjust. The tablets work well, they do not resist "pH return". I tested my water in the morning and the pH has not changed much compared to the pH on the left side of the image I uploaded. These tablets will not work if your water has a high buffering capacity.
