I have tried two different M.2 NVME SSD 2280 drives. One is a 256GB WD Black SSD and the other is a 1TB WD Black SSD. The computer beeps / recognizes that I have something plugged in, but nothing appears. To make matters worse, while experimenting with a 1TB drive and different connectors/cables, I got a weird warning from my PC that a lot of power was being drawn through the USB port. It happened twice, then I realized both ports were dead! (One port was USB 2 and the other was USB 3). Luckily the ports started working again after a cold boot. I would give this one star but I'm giving it two because I might be trying to use an incompatible type of SSD? If this is the case, I strongly recommend that the seller add more detail to their description so as not to waste anyone else's time. In addition, the physical quality is very beautiful! It is made of smooth machined aluminum and looks very high quality. I want it to work!
