The belt needs a wider bracket (or the belt can be shorter).
I replaced a G-Shock 6900 rubber strap that was too big for my wrist. It fitted the eyelets well, but was longer than I had hoped. After threading it through the latch there was too much strap left so I basically pull the latch over the wider part of the strap to keep the strap from dangling. The rest of the strap looks good, is well made and will probably be fine.
