Review on πŸ“ Asobu Flavor It 20oz Glass Water Bottle: Red Fruit Infuser for Refreshing Hydration by Chris Pettway

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Wish it was "a little bit bigger "

I drink a lot of water and bought this item thinking I might grab a few flavored drinks here and there as I'm on my way to sodas or soda pop do not drink much other sugary drinks drinks. The water bottle arrived about 5 weeks ago. Why I like it: * It works great as a tea infuser. The water will naturally color and take on fruit/herbal flavors (no shaking needed)*. Looks very good. The illusion of hanging fruit and/or herbs is definitely eye-catching.* I like that it's easy to carry. The girth is perfect for my hand * I like that it's made of glass (although the fruit stand is plastic). It's a really easy way to enjoy flavored/infused water anywhere as it's easy to carry with you wherever you go. I've read other reviews about the filling breaking and being difficult to drink and I haven't had these issues. I will definitely update this review if that happens. Why I took off 2 stars: I gave this water bottle to my mom after about a week because it just didn't work for me. Like I said, I drink a lot of water. I usually go down with a liter when I'm working and top up often. The container doesn't fit me. I've added photos so everyone can better understand the actual size and capacity. Yes, that's 20 fl oz. In picture 1 he is standing next to a Starbucks container with a venti-sized drink. On fig. 2 shows a box full of strawberries (6 frozen and organic). My Biggest Problem: The most important technical problem I found was determining how much water to put in a container. This is arranged so that the water enters the water bottle first. The infuser goes into position 2. The video shows the water rising when the brewer is inserted. Add less dense material (like herbs) and the amount of water needed changes, resulting in less or more water than you might expect. Figure 3 shows the amount of water present in the video (almost 14 fl oz). The second technical issue I found was the lid. I read a review about closing the lid but didn't feel good and that's for sure. It usually takes 2 or 3 times to close properly as it tends to close crookedly if the lid isn't perfectly level. So, a month later: I let my mom use this for a month before writing this review. She uses it often, but would use it all the time if it were "a little bigger." She's used to adding just the right amount of water, but only used lemon, lime, and strawberries (and usually fills the pot all the way up). Who can benefit from this water infusion: Volunteering (eg, to a church or running an errand). I see one student using this as long as he/she keeps the water topped up well between sessions. This doesn't work for those who drink a lot of water. This probably won't work for those looking to use this as a way to increase their water intake efficiently, as it can be a bit of a hassle to refill so often. I doubt it won't work for someone who wants to fill up in the morning and carry around all day.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Big and bulky
