Looks good but not a great product

I don't think the machine works at all. After installing it, adjusting the canister as directed and closing it, I smelled something for a brief moment and then nothing. I don't think I'll be using these not-too-cheap products again. I find that the normal plugin works better. Maybe mine was broken, but I won't be a back user.
