I really don't understand all the negative reviews. This product did exactly what I wanted it to do and at a very low price (I paid $5.53 total). If you are planning to backup games or movies, they work great. Here is the process I would follow1. Install software 2. Download software. A 3 step wizard will open up to walk you through the process where you select what type of label you are creating (there is a thumbnail on the page so you know exactly what you are choosing) then choose the background (I used my own image files for this and they turned out great), then click Done3. The program will now open with the background of your choice over the template of the type of label you are creating. You can easily move it, enlarge it, etc. to get exactly what you want. I've only made DVD labels and with these I recommend making the background slightly larger than the actual DVD so it doesn't have white areas if it's not printed perfectly centered. 4. Feed the label paper into the printer5. print6. Tear-off label 7. Attach the label to the disc, case cover, book spine, or whatever you made the label for. I didn't even have to calibrate my printer and it worked fine. In case anyone is wondering, I use a laser printer and am using Windows 7
