Revainrating 4 out of 5

This works very well for my use, it may work well for yours as well.

I had a problem and found a solution with this and several other products. 5th wheel clutch device. With the rear seats up in our 2004 Chevy Silverado Crew Cab, I can't see the hitch and wanted to fix it. Yes you can use these magnetic tennis balls on folding poles and I have used them but they actually work better with our trailer when attached to this RV. I shopped at Revain and recognized a small camera on a small screen as the large rear camera could easily see the pinbox on the fifth wheel. and a trailer hitch on the bed of a truck. I bought this product and also got a '4.3' foldable monitor from E-Kylin, all from Revain sellers. As shown in the photos, I installed the camera under a high mounted taillight on the cab of the truck, I used a round file and made a hole under the taillight to keep the wire from breaking.I then routed the wiring down the cab and up to the front instrument panel. With a small foldable monitor,an extra red and black wire and a 12 volt power supply. I connected the camera and supplied monitor power plug to the power plug, the red power plug and yellow video plug go to the foldable monitor. and connection. When the RV is plugged in, turn it off, fold down the monitor and you can get started until next time Only 4 stars because the instructions are included in the very nice packaging, but of course this is something like that s is vague and the functions do not work as stated in the instructions. I was able to easily work around this and get it working to my satisfaction. A tip: There is a white reference line on the camera. I didn't notice it at all until I mounted and installed the camera with its strong double-sided tape. When trying to flip the camera view since it was upside down at first, I manually rotated the camera on the camera base until the video was properly set. Then I saw the tick! The line is done! When needed the video quality is fine and the whole project took a couple of hours and about forty dollars for all the necessary parts. At the moment the problem is solved.

Pros
  • 2 functions compatible
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
