Review on Logitech MX Keys Wireless Keyboard Black, English by Mateusz Czyta ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Everything is fine, I liked the product, I bought it for a reason.

The designer who came up with this key layout should no longer be employed. Everything is in good shape in general because to Claudia's high level of quality. Everything about it is enjoyable, from the components and design to the construction and the keys. However, this clave is in operational condition. Why did it have to be at such a depraved location? I got it on January 26 and it was almost fully charged when I used it without the backlighting. It wasn't until June 9 that the red light started blinking, indicating that the battery was becoming low. That is, it lasted for four and a half months on a single charge without needing to be recharged. The location of the keys led me to discover in retrospect that this is the typical arrangement for a Mac computer. At least, other from ESC, they don't have any other options available to them.

Pros
  • - Materials - Build quality - Pleasant keystrokes - A manageable size (making it simple to access even the top row of keys) - Environmental friendliness. Confident reception boasts that despite its weight of approximately one kilogram, it does not move around the table at all. There were no issues at all. - No noticeable lag - Autonomy. It is not used with the backlight. Since the purchase, it has been almost four weeks, yet there has been no fee as of yet. Daily, I spend between three and four hours on it.
Cons
  • - The positioning of the F keys. Why did they choose to include key 13 there? When you want to push F12, you automatically reach for the button that is the last one on the row, and then you turn up the volume (well, unless you're in flight mode). You could safely leave 12, and make a regular divide into three groups of 4, in order to make it more convenient (especially considering the fact that the 13 key is so pointless that I don't even know why it's necessary). - The placement of the function keys. Why was the screen brightness adjustment placed at the very beginning of the process? This functionality is not supported on desktop PCs, and it was discovered that the keys with the least amount of use were placed first. At least you have the option to reassign it and put something else in its place, like the volume. Adjusting the brightness of the arrows, as is customary for laptops, is something that should be done as soon as possible. - Short shift. It doesn't matter how hard you try; if you employ complicated combos like CTRL + SHIFT + C/V, then it will be incredibly challenging for you to get used to it. In games, the rules apply, but in real life (where it's more like using a real keyboard), this creates complications. It was necessary for me to use Power Toys to remap the neighboring key to the shift function. - The location of the print screen keys and the keys immediately to their left and right. This keyboard is operational, and the keys in question are utilized rather frequently. Why do I need three buttons that serve no purpose in place of them when I never press any of them?
