4.7 - 5.0, I can't decide on an estimate. Within a week of using the Surface Pro 3, it has become a great companion for work and play. I will update this review with the tablet over time. Pros: - The tablet looks great! The picture is very clear. The resolution is not impressive. The device comes with Windows 10 Professional installed. Shutdown and reboot are VERY fast (i5, 4GB RAM). One Note offers great ways to take screenshots, edit images, and edit Word documents with a pen. and do schoolwork. - Web browsing is very fast and responsive. - Games work very well on the tablet. I play AOE and Sims 4 and the picture is beautiful. The game naturally runs fast with little lag (depending on the number of mods and performance settings). However, I would advise getting an i7 or higher to run heavier games. Maybe this device can be overclocked, but I wouldn't recommend it for the average user. I'm an artist and this is a pretty good drawing tablet. The pen is responsive, the pen pressure can be adjusted, and you can buy different surface pen tips to adjust the pressure of different refills. I have created significant works of art with this tablet. The tablet recognizes your palm, so you CAN place your palm on the screen while drawing! The latest update programs your tablet so that it doesn't recognize the Windows key on the side when you draw. Cons: - Windows Pro 10 is installed on the device, but it needs to be updated once you learn how to use it properly. Updates were blocked multiple times, once at 11% and another time at 92%. I had to debug the system to proceed with the update, which took several hours. - The tablet sometimes does not respond to touching a finger on the screen. While this is a minor inconvenience (or it could be the pressure I'm applying with the stylus and finger), it can be a little annoying. If used in a warm room or under a blanket, the system will quickly overheat and shut down. Descent. Luckily, it has a temperature sensor to protect against overheating. - If the temperature exceeds 60 degrees when drawing on the tablet with stand, and you put your hand lightly on the tablet, it will not support your hand and sink. - The device does not come with a keyboard, so you have to order it separately. The device comes with only 1 USB port. It doesn't have a built-in DVD drive, so you'll need to order a DVD drive separately and a USB hub to expand your ports. While the system crashed once, I may have restarted it. I had several programs running at the same time (no tabs). It looks like the device can't handle more than 3 heavy programs at the same time. Again, I'm not sure what happened here, but after a reboot, the system worked fine. I'm glad I've invested in this device so far.
