Review on GUM 516 Technique Sensitive Care Toothbrush - Full - Ultra Soft (3 Toothbrushes), Assorted color by Michele Arora

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I've tried a few manual toothbrushes

I've tried so many "soft" brushes over the years and none of them have really been that soft and I still bleed brushing my teeth (gums are healthy so lie down it's just how "hard" the brushes are in hard-to-clean areas). With so many conflicting reviews, I decided to buy the 4 most recommended "soft" bristle brushes and compare them. What I have purchased and have been using for a few weeks now: Oral-B Sensi-Soft Toothbrush 2 Pack, Colors May VaryCand Ultra Soft Adult Toothbrush Bamboo Charcoal Bristles 4 Pack Colgate Fine Soft Carbon Toothbrush 0.01mm Ultra Soft Fine Bristles 3 Pack -Pack colors may vary Labeled soft but was actually quite hard and caused bleeding at the gum line Cand Ultra Soft Toothbrush for Adults Bamboo Charcoal Bristle 4 Pack This was the softest of the brushes and certainly did not bleed when brushed Colgate Fine Soft Charcoal Toothbrush Ultra Soft and fine 0.01mm bristles, 3-pack This brush is a bit stiffer than the Cand Ultra Soft, but you'll have to hold both to notice the difference. Toothbrush Technique Sensitive Care GUM 516 - Full - Ultra Soft (3 toothbrushes) Generally a good soft brush. Covers a large area. The bristle tufts are at two angles which I think helps with the coverage. Virtually no bleeding. After all this trying, I decided that it is best for me to use a combination (I also use an electric toothbrush - Interplak (each tuft of bristles rotates against the neighboring tuft, so it cleans without much pressure on the gums - recommended by my periodontist many years ago).I use the GUM 516 for general cleaning and then Cand or Colgate Slim Soft for the gumline area.Interplak is only used once a day and seems to be the best program for me.
