Review on Handmade_World Vintage Backpack Messenger Rucksack by Carla Gallegos

I am confused by the makers of this product and have absolutely no idea how they intended to use this bag. She arrived with an oily, sticky goo all over her buckles and some of the skin around her seams. No manufacturer should put products on the market in this condition. However, they did and did not include instructions on how to remove this shame. I'm deducting a full star for that nonsense. The second issue is an important one, and I deducted four stars for that (which will end up being 0 stars, but I can't do that). The leather used to attach the buckles to the bag is too thin to support any weight. I definitely wouldn't put my laptop in there. Not sure enough. If a student loaded it with the usual amount of books, the buckle that attaches the skin would break/tear within a few days, possibly even on the first use. It's completely useless as a backpack. Also, the buckles look flimsy and there are holes punched in the shoulder straps, but there are no grommets in the holes, so the holes will eventually lengthen or break if a weight is placed in the bag. The bag could be a great decoration, but it's useless as a backpack, it's too weak for that. The bag itself is very good, the leather is thick enough and sturdy enough and I like it. The bag would be great if the leather used to attach the buckles was three times thicker than theirs, using the grommets in the strap holes and the buckles were better. I've considered making these changes myself, but it really is too much effort for something that could be done SO EASY right.
