I have tried various inexpensive LED aquarium lights and so far this is my favorite. All my plants are thriving and even some water hyacinths do well in the light. The only downside, and it's a tiny one, is that the power cord connection is a bit fiddly, as the soft rubber requires a bit of fiddling to bring the two ends together. I would highly recommend this light to anyone interested in growing plants in an aquarium. I use it in a 30 gallon aquarium and my plants are doing very well despite the water depth.
