I've been looking for a good electric blanket for about a month. I first bought the 50x60 faux fur version of this brand and while it got very warm I found the price a bit steep due to the thinness (I bought mine for $69.99 - they've since lowered the price a bit ). and standard size. . After further research I decided to try this awesome version and I'm so glad I did. That's all I'm looking for in an electric blanket. It's SUPER soft and thick, heats up quickly and is big enough to snuggle up to without sticking your foot out. I'm giving 4 stars because I feel like it doesn't heat up as much as the faux fur version (probably due to the thickness) and there is a fairly large gap between the edge of the blanket and the heating element. It's not critical to me, but I had to be careful about where the heating elements were so I could heat my legs and body evenly. All in all, this is a really nice blanket and makes a great gift. !** Update: from 04.05.20 I will get a replacement for this duvet. I have seen many people say that after a few months the control buttons will flash and the heating element will not turn on. The same thing happened to me so I contacted the company. The exchange process was very easy and they were very quick to respond. I hope there are no more problems and the replacement lasts a very long time!
