Good quality item but wrong size. I took my dog to the local pet store and tested the carrier to get the exact dimensions of the carrier for him. We found one that would work perfectly and noted the dimensions of this particular carrier (18" x 11.5" x 11.75"). Knowing this carrier is smaller in width and height, but the Length is enough and the rest should be fine, we bought this carrier for a last minute trip, when the carrier arrived we tried to put my puppy in it and there was no way to fasten it, the product came with a Advertised length of 18". We took a tape measure and measured the bottom of the product and it was only 16". The width measurement was also shorter than advertised. As we were due to go on an outing that day the dog had to stay due to the wrong stuff advertised and couldn't travel with me.Not only was I frustrated that I couldn't take my dog with me and lost part of the fare I paid for their trip, I was looking forward to using this product..
