These earrings are beautiful and exactly what I was looking for a) because of the material and b) because the back doesn't dig into the neck. When they arrived the backing had been removed from one and when I tried to put it back on it became apparent that it was for a different caliber. That alone didn't make much of a difference for ME because I have a bunch of extras lying around. The problem for me was that the other 5 balls were bloody impossible to hit. I had to soak them in hot water and then unscrew them with jewelry pliers and latex gloves. It took me a decent amount of time to insert them, but that's to be expected as they are extremely uncomfortable to insert into my earlobes. Aside from the initial issues, the earrings are beautiful, comfortable, and solve almost every problem I've ever had with earrings. UPDATE: After less than a month of wearing, the stone fell out of TWO earrings and I'm not happy about it.
