I work with a silicone overlay on the keyboard, the laptop itself is in a hard "bumper". I'm thinking of taking a thin resealable cover, as I carry it in a backpack in a separate pocket, but still dust and small specks get on the screen. The screen is wiped very easily with a cloth for wiping glasses. Some pros: Weight, compactness, battery life, OS, price. It is very convenient to work with the built-in trackpad (set it up for yourself and get used to it for a couple of days) and the mouse is absolutely not needed, the touch bar is also good. With my tasks, the processor almost never works, even at half. Well, the screen is certainly good! With its cons: In fact - not enough RAM and disk space for such a price. But again, all the necessary programs are worth it (I'm a network engineer) and there is still 50 GB of free disk space. RAM often goes into swap, so 16 GB would be optimal. Under heavy load, the cooler makes a noticeable but not critical noise.
