Review on Superior Quality Spedal Autofocus Webcam for High-Definition Broadcasting by Michael Hall

Revainrating 3 out of 5

It's nice to have but not the best / not what I expected.

Initially I was very happy to get this because of the LED light option. The lighting option itself works well, but the camera quality itself isn't the best.1. It didn't come with software or a way to adjust the quality. You need to set it in the Zoom or FaceTime camera settings. As we both know, Zoom/Facetime/other programs have limited settings. There is no special software for this.2. LED light has 3 settings. The settings are easy to adjust with a touch, but honestly I wish there was a remote control option or a phone app option to adjust the lights. Especially if the computer is further away.3. The view setup is the main reason I got this. My FaceTime camera is on a Mac 720 and has a wide angle. I really need a webcam that tilts and shows "more of me" compared to my room. This one delivers to a certain extent. You have to manually touch the back to adjust the view. It doesn't bother me too much, but then again it would be nice to have a remote control or app/software to adjust the view instead of manually touching the webcam. There are ONLY 3 options to customize the view. There is no "slider" option to adjust the view as is sometimes offered in Logitech software. The three settings seem very restrictive and almost defeat the purpose.4. The quality is definitely not 1080. My 720 Mac has a better camera. This 1080 camera makes my skin too soft. It's not hard. So that's another disappointment. Would I recommend this webcam - yes and no. When you're on a budget and need something that's reliable and lightweight. Then keep it up. It's essentially plug-n-play and even comes with a mini tripod so you can film yourself on your desk if you like. For professional purposes, to give a "clear" impression of yourself, no, I would not recommend this webcam. . I was hoping to avoid the Logitech route as it's very expensive, but it seems Logitech is the only company that has the software to cater to the narrower view.
