My daughter’s size is 6 and the size 7-8 slippers are great. There is plenty of room for growth and they do not slide off or cause her to trip. The rubber base prevents slipping. The elastic at the back keeps the heel from slipping out and is loose enough to be comfortable. The material seems sturdy yet soft and not so soft that they are flimsy. If your child needs support, say some type of orthopedic support to keep the foot straight, this does not have any. We will probably buy this again in a different size.
