Good inexpensive set for use with Ceremonial Matcha and the Tea Ceremony.

I have seen "tea ceremony" in movies and anime as a form of service or respect to dear guests or friends. It's great to have real instruments used for the ceremony. I have a very good iron heating pad, a good sized ceramic bowl and now also a whisk and tea spout. I'm not sure why the steps are performed the way they are, from tipping the tea mite to properly stirring the matcha in the bowl and serving the drink. As far as I know the ceremony dates back to 9th century China and a Buddhist monk prepared tea for the emperor in this way. It is meant to represent things like purity and calm. It was also often used in religious ceremonies. It has a rich history dating back to the time when tea was imported to Japan from China and became popular. It's worth reading about, and nice to have the tools here to make it as authentic as possible. I dislike most green teas, but matcha is an exception as it is so subtle it lacks the characteristic bitterness. I think it would be wrong to hold a tea ceremony where the tea is a bit bitter. Recommended but for those who love other cultures especially Japanese culture.
