We're the 20lb size and it's just what we were looking for to improve sleep quality. Soft fabric - it's like cotton, nice and soft, it's comfortable to sleep on. Each square has a weight and it stays evenly distributed. My husband likes it a lot more than the hard glass beads and I have to agree. It's soft enough for my sore ankle - I can fluff the fabric up a bit and make a little "hut" for my foot, which I can't easily do with standard large, thick quilts, and they don't get too tight be. because the blanket stays where you put it, as if you were shaping and shaping the sand. It's warm here, but we like it because we love sleeping in the cold.
